Homeless Advocates of Texas (HAT) ultimate goal is to eradicate homelessness; getting to the root cause of homelessness and abolishing it. Our aim is to stop the cycle of individuals and family members from wondering aimlessly, making the same wrong choices / mistakes. HAT is here to help the destitute, homeless, abused, elderly, youth in trouble, and formerly incarcerated. We understand that each situation is different will be handled as such.
HAT is striving to have a building for all of our clients. Once the doors are open, HAT will do what is needed to do in the Dallas and surrounding areas to educate and train individuals with skills that can be useful in a career. Also HAT will provide a “safe” roof over each individual’s head needed, whether it is a man, woman or family. Provided in the facility will be computer training, life skills training, financial budgeting, career and college counseling, family counseling, and individual counseling. For more information or to volunteer, please contact Gina McGowan-Cade @ 972-287-3203, respond to this email or send an email to HomelessAdvocatesofTexas@yahoo.com. Thank you for taking the time to get more information on our organization.
